ABOUT

ABOUT

The European Philological Society is an international and non-commercial communication and information network for philologists. Our platform serves as a central hub for philological studies in Europe, providing resources such as conference updates, reviews, job opportunities, awards, and publications.

Membership in the European Philological Society is exclusively by invitation. Scholars, researchers, and students can become members upon invitation extended by existing members of the society, academic institutions, or departments. This selective approach ensures a vibrant community of individuals, and institutions united by their passion for philological exploration and research.

At the EPhS, we are committed to upholding the principles of Open Access, ensuring that all published content meets rigorous quality standards. Our moderated mailing list is overseen by an editorial board, ensuring that only discipline-specific and scholarly contributions are shared. We promote excellence in research and professional news across the diverse landscape of philology.

Currently, our address is as follows : European Philological Society, 32 allée de la Robertsau, 67000 Strasbourg.
